キミは昼金目を知っているか？

そういえばこないだまた逗子に獣肉を食べに行ったのだった。
たまたまいい鴨が切れていて泣いていた矢先「KQZさん、昼金目っての喰ったことあっかい？」と親父がにやにやするわけですわさ。
それがコレ↓。

なんでも昼釣れる金目鯛のほうが油が乗っていて数倍は旨いのだとか。
どっちの料理ショーで夜に取りに行って…　とかやってたのは所詮は東京に送るもんで、地に居着いた昼金目は数が取れないから出回らないのだそうな。
話はそこそこにこの色に惹かれてもちろん頼んだ我々だったのだ。

なんでも今日釣ったのを開いて半日干したのがあるというので8人で2枚頼んでみた。
ぐへー、身、身が厚いんですけどーー。

炭を熾しながらまず美丈夫の発泡うすにごりでかんぱーい。
で、焼いてみたわけだが…

もうね、旨いよ、こりゃ。
今まで喰った魚の中でもう断トツで一番。
脂の乗り方なんざとんでもない。甘い。
皮もカリリとんまい。目ん玉のゼラチンなんて20センチものびーる。んでんまーーい。
酒が進むこと進むこと。
十四代龍月もってってよかったー。
あ、忘れてた。その前にさよりも食べたんだった。

これもめちゃくちゃ旨かったのだが、昼金目の前にはかすんでしまった。
こんなとき日本って素晴らしいね。と意味なく思うわけでして。

続いては小鳥焼き。アーモンド色の油が十分に回っておいしそうなり。

11年通っている経験からして、小鳥には粒マスタードが一番あうわけでして、右はちょいと噛ってしまった写真でした。
続いて今度は雉の焼肉が登場。この季節は鴨がいいんだけど、こればっかりは運の要素があるから仕方がない。
鍋には雉の方がおいしかったりもするしね。

ちなみに後ろに見えているワインは友田晶子さんの結婚式の引き出物のワイン。

肉肉したものが多くなってきたということで日本酒もお燗することに。
今回持ち込んだのはdancyuで「鍋にあう酒ナンバーワン」に選ばれた奈良萬と十四代龍月なのだが、お燗の機械などという気の利いたものがここにあるわけがないので炭火で直火燗なのだ。

プレミアつけて売り買いしている輩にとっては卒倒モノかもしれんが旨いものは旨い。極上。
ちなみに奥にひっそりと写っている女性は「中華虎の穴」で有名な小鳳さん。こないだODINの菊ちゃんと一緒に来た時に味を占めてしまったらしいのだな。（笑）

んでもって熟成した鹿肉ステーキを食べて満腹になってしまったのでした。
最後に栃木でお医者さん夫人をやっている金時友人から送ってもらったべらぼうに旨いとちおとめをデザートにして締め。
鍋までたどり着けなかったのが返す返すも残念ナリ。
あ、鴨も。
あ、岩魚の骨酒も。
あ、猪も。
