そういえばKOSSのギボシ改造をしていたのでした

しかし忙しいのだ。やはりE3にはもとより行けなくて当然、と。

さて、数日前のエントリーで「まずは連休中にKOSSの改造ってのをやってみますか。」と書いていたのですが、その結果報告をし忘れておりました。

「え？　KOSSの改造ってなに？」という向きには↓の記事の一番下を見てもらえばよろしいかと。

今回参考にしたのは以下のサイト。

KOSS The Plug に SONY MDR-EX70/51/71 のイヤーピースを移植する
KOSS the Plugを改造する - side=2

肝心のギボシの入手ですが、秋葉原ラジオセンターの山本無線であっさりゲット。
どんな大きさだか良くわからなかったので大中小あわせて3セット6本購入。
〆て46円ナリ。安っ。

あわせて買いたい
『KOSS THE PLUG ヘッドホン』と『SONY EP-EX1 H 交換用イヤピース (グレー)』、どちらもおすすめ！

とあるのは、みなさん改造してるってことですな。
ふむふむ。

さてKOSSをじっくりとばらしてみる。
何のことはないただ引っ張って外すだけだ。
一番小さなギボシをかぶせてみて、SONYの交換イヤピースを取り付けたらあら完成。
拍子抜けするほどカンタンである。
小さいギボシでもちょっと長めな感じなので後で短く調整してみよう。

で、音はというと……、「値段の割にはいいよね」ってな感じか。
確かにiPod付属のイヤフォンより格段に遮音性は高くなっているから当初の目的は完遂。
聞き込んでないけど音質は甘めのお菓子っぽい。

ちなみに改造前の素のKOSS状態にもどして聴いてみると、冗談みたいな低音のこもり方でどうしようもなかったわけでして、そこからしてみれば較べるまでも無く圧倒的にこっちの方がいい。
あとは慣らし込みですかね。
ギボシの長さを短くしてみれば変わるかもしれないし。

…てなことをやっていたら、やっぱりちゃんとしたイヤフォンを買いたくなってしまった。
ココを見てるとMDR-EX90SLもなんかよさそう。
あ、もう売ってるし。↓\9,231円ってのも安い。
でも遮音性がイマイチってのがなぁ…
そうするとER-6iあたりが順当なのかも…
むぅーん。

ってことでE4c使いの私が来ましたよ。

結構満足してますが、UEのSuper Fi.5 Proの方が評判いいようです。

実はApple Storeがその辺の高級イヤホン一通り試聴できるので良かったり。

QUALIA MDRｰEXQ1聴いてみたければ、時間の合うときにうちの引退させた奴持参しますよ。非常に解像度の高い、けどドンシャリサウンドです。

おー、E4cですかそーですか。
もともとは遮音性重視と手荒な扱いに耐えうるヘビーディーティーが必須なわけでして、高級イヤフォンをどうこうしようとは思ってなかったんですけどねー。
KOSSを聴いてはっきりわかる付け重低音（変な用語）がにゃんとも気持ちが悪くて10K円くらいまでのものに手を伸ばそうかと思ってみたところだったのです。
それくらいなら壊れても惜しくないしね。（←なんか既にズレてる）

もっとも、高いヘッドフォン（イヤフォン）はいい音鳴らしてくれるのは知ってるので別にいくらでもいいんですけど、本体にぐるぐる巻きにしてかばんにポイっと突っ込んでも壊れないようなのってのはないかしらん。
……無理そうですな。
ER-6iか、Apple純正カナルを使い倒すか…
それとは別にQUALIAは聴いてみたいですわ。
汐留から引っ越して愛宕になっちゃったけども。

ですね、葉書来てました。

うちのMDR-EXQ1は1回交換してるのですが、交換後も中国製でした。最新のは日本製だそうで、音が別物によいとか。
（ここにコメントつけるに当たりググって知りました）

交換した中国製、すぐにワックスガードが取れてしまったので、今度再修理（≒交換）しに持って行きます。するとたぶん日本製になるので（ちなみに日本製からワックスガードが取れにくいように構造変更されてます）、それを試聴した方がよろしいかと。

そうと知ったからにはさっさと修理（≒交換）して来ようと思いますので、修理（≒交換）とエージングが済んだ頃にやりましょうか。

ということでカジュアルにER-6iを購入してみました。
電車の中ではこれでとりあえずはいいかしらん。
2K円と13k円の差はさすがにあるでしょうて。
到着したらしばらく鳴らしこんでおきますわ。

しかしamazonのレビューの「E2Cにもアル面では勝るかな」ってのも変ですねぇ。
そりゃ値段も5割がた高いんだから。
